Admin: Other Waste Codes

Waste Codes

Waste Codes are unique identifiers designed to identify a method by which a product should be disposed.

1. Select Admin, Other, and Waste Codes:

2. A Waste Code display will appear, with a tab for Products:

3. Click the Waste Code entry area and type in your Waste Code, select Solid/Liquid, Active (or select Active check mark to inactivate), and click Save. Or, to type in a new Waste Code, type a number in the Waste Code number form, Save, and then, Cancel - which will bring up a Waste Code Form.

1. Click New to create a new waste code.

2. Click Delete to delete the selected waste code.

3. Click All to list all waste codes.

4. Click Search to open the Query Editor.  

5. Click Sort to sort existing waste code records.

6. Click Close to close the Waste Code Output Form.

 

 

The Products tab displays which products are currently linked to this Waste Code (Under Admin, Other, Waste Codes, and click on All. Select the Active Product; if any).

If the Waste Code already exists, a screen will appear to confirm your desire to continue adding to the waste code number selection.

Select "No" or Yes".

To add Products to the waste code, select the "Products" tab, after selecting "Liquid" or "Solid" in the definable State field.

Check next to Active for active products.

 

Waste Code Data Entry Form

The Waste Code tab displays the information related to a specific Waste Code.

1. Waste Code: The Waste Code field holds the alphanumeric string that uniquely identifies this Waste Code.

2. State: The State field indicates whether the waste is a solid or a liquid.

3. Active: The Active check box indicates whether or not this Waste Code is currently used.  Select either Liquid or Solid from drop-down list box.  

NOTE:

If the Active check box is not checked the Waste Code will not show up on the Waste Code Output form.

4. Description: The Description field indicates the method of disposal to which this Waste Code relates.

 

The Products tab displays which products are currently linked to this Waste Code.
